- Discover your needs. Coordinators will learn exactly what your business needs are and what you need in a candidate. They know the hiring processes and requirements – and the best, most efficient staffing processes – because they’re part of VA.
- Provide a list of candidates. Normally, you would post a job and
then sort through hundreds of applicants. Coordinators can quickly identify the
best matches through focused recruiting efforts and access to databases of
Veteran talent near you
- Facilitate the interview process. Once you have a targeted list of
candidates, coordinators will manage the interview process and work with you to
select the most qualified candidate and finalize the offer. Coordinators also
work with Veteran candidates to prepare them for success.
- Help you select a Veteran employee. Coordinators will guide you
through your decision, and make sure all forms, applications, Veterans
Preference documents and other required information are provided and processed,
so that you can focus on the important task of serving our nation’s Veterans.
